God's Plan for You

          "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps."

        Proverbs 16:9

        Today I want each of you to think about where you are in life.  I want you to think about all your possessions, your house, your car, your IRA, your furniture, all the things that you own.  I then want you to think about your family, your husband or wife, your children, your aunts and uncles, and all your friends.  The purpose of this exercise is to make you think and realize just how fortunate you are to have all these possessions and all these people in your life.  I am sure there are some that may think that they do not have enough possessions or people in your life as you would like, but God promises us that he will provide all our needs, and I hope you realize through this exercise that God has provided all your needs and probably many of the desires of your heart as well.  I then want each of you to realize that it is God that has allowed you to be where you are today, that it is Him that has allowed you to have all your possessions, your family and friends, as you have not done it on your own, but that it is God that has allowed you to be where you are today.  God has a plan and a purpose for each one of your lives.  Your days were destined to be, even before you were born as Psalms 139 tells us, and God has you where you are today for a reason, as it is part of his plan for your life.  Nothing is by chance or the choices that you have made to have you where you are today, it is God's will for you to be where you are.  This is very important for you to grasp and realize that you are where God wants you to be at this time in your life.  With this in mind please continue to let God be in control of your life and provide for you in the future.
