God Is Still In Control

"At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Luke 21:27

Have you ever thought about the significance of the clouds in our lives?  Without the clouds we wouldn't be shielded from the burning sun.  Without the clouds there would be no lavish sunsets, no beneficial rain and no beautiful landscapes.  The most beautiful scenery in any picture is of the fluffy clouds floating against a sky of blue.  Just looking at a beautiful sunset with the fiery red rays of the sun piercing through the clouds is one of the most beautiful sights we can behold.   The same is true with life's clouds.  When hard times come we easily get discouraged.  But behind the clouds God is still present, and can even use them to water our souls with unexpected blessings.  Exodus 19:9 "I am going to come to you in a dense cloud, so that the people will hear me speaking with you and will always put their trust in you."   So many Christians today face obstacles and difficulties in their lives from many different circumstances, such as financial, relationships, job difficulties, health issues, etc..   Sometime the storm clouds of life seem to be constantly over our heads and following us everywhere we go.  Just like the cartoon character in the comic strip Charley Brown, there appears to always be a black cloud that is constantly above us.  God tells us throughout the Bible that He tests us with trials and tribulations, but He will not let us bear more than we can stand and endure.  Through all the trials and troubles you may be facing today, do not give up on God, as He is still in control above the clouds, and will bring the sunshine back into your lives and let you have peace, joy and happiness.
