Make This Your Day

                     "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

          Psalm 118:24

              In this devotional I would like for each of you to realize just how much God loves you, and to encourage you to make the most of your time on this earth.  Today is a new day and one that God has made for you. You need to be happy and enjoy your day and make it the best day possible.  God wants you to be happy and joyful with each day He gives you.  Look at today as the day God made especially for you; this is your day.  Make it the best day that you can.  Do not let anyone or anything ruin your day by confronting you with obstacles that destroy your happiness, but be firm and committed to throw off the problems that may confront you, and that could cause you to lose your joy and happiness.  In Psalm 120:1 He tells us "I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me".  Prepare yourself for these obstacles and don't let them destroy your happiness.   Satan is out there wanting to destroy your peace, and will attack you on all fronts, but put on the armor of God to protect you from his attacks. Psalm 121:3 tells us that God is watching over you "He will not let your foot slip-he who watches over you will not slumber". Be content with your circumstances, as God has placed you where you are today as part of His plan for your life.  Do not let the past disappointments and hurts in your life rob you of your happiness today.  Forget about the past and live your life to enjoy today.    Look forward to the future and the blessings that await you.  Obey God's commands in the hours ahead, and He will let you prosper in everything you do.  This is your day, rejoice and be glad in it.
